Where are they printed?

Res Fabula is located in Montreal / Tio'tià:ke, on traditional Kanien'ke:ha (Mohawk) Territory. All designs are handmade and printed here first; the reproductions on sale are currently being manufactured in the US. We are also planning to add a local supplier in the future.

Can labels be removed or repositioned?

Every label is printed on recycled kraft that itself is also ultimately recyclable and/or compostable.

A non-toxic, vegan, starch-based and water-activated adhesive provides a permanent bond

with your beloved tome; it's therefore recommended that you dry-fit before pasting.

Can the bookplates be personalized with a name?

All bookplates are customizable with a name in red or black ink and in one of two font families, for an additional fee; please refer to the order details corresponding to your choice of design, and do get in touch if you have any special instructions.

How long do you hang on to the personalized name plates?

In the interest of saving resources, time, and everyone money, I will hold on to customized name plates for a period of two years following the most recent order, after which I may arbitrarily dispose of them at any time. During those two years, you may order a custom set at a discount (applied to the custom printing of names, per each set of 12 labels). Please get in touch for further details, or if you would like to purchase the name plate.

Do you make custom designs?

Yes! Please get in touch if you seek a custom ex libris for yourself or as a gift. We will work together to come up with a meaningful design that captures the essence or interests of its owner.

What is your return policy?

Product should be unused to qualify for refund. If product arrived damaged, please snd photos by email. We do our best to make sure you're happy with your purchase. Please get in touch so we can find a way to get you what you need.
